Executive Summary

Christine Weston Chandler, known to the internet as "Chris-Chan", may possibly be the single most documented human being to ever exist.

Their antics have led to the creation of whole communities within the internet "Counter-Culture".

They have also been known to attend conventions in the past and engage in the sort of behavior we like to document.

This page exists only as a reference tool, and will only link to media that we believe best covers them in the most neutral or comprehensive manner.

Current Status

In 2021, Christine Chandler was arrested by local police and then charged with multiple crimes, notably sexual assault and incest. They have yet to be convicted of any crime, most likely due to delays brought on by the COVID-19 Pandemic.

As of early 2023, Christine has been released from jail, pending an upcoming court hearing in mid to late August. Originally, the Virginia court system listed her as "bonded out", but despite widespread speculation, it appears that this was simply an honest mistake by an overworked court clerk with internet access. Her status was quickly changed to "released per court order" or something to that effect.

The reason? In the state of Virginia, a charge of "Incest" carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison, which would mean that, should Christine be found guilty, it is very likely that even the most lackluster defense attorney could easily plead to the court for no jail time based on an excessive amount of time already served.

We will edit this section as Ms. Chandler's situation changes, but it does not take priority as there are others that cover this person and their actions in far greater detail.

Recommended Handling Procedures

Until Christine Chandler's trial for incest and sexual assault are concluded, it is to be assumed that if you see them at a convention, they probably have escaped from their confinement or are violating the terms of their probation and you should contact law enforcement.

On Gender Identity

Sometime between the years 2015-2017, This individual changed their name to "Christine" and began identifying themselves by traditionally feminine pronouns.

That being said, there is both widespread misinformation out there on the internet about this individual AND said individual has a well-documented public history of mental illness, thanks to Christine's trait of oversharing.

As a result, there is some semblance of doubt, even amongst those who are normally advocates of transgender rights and public advocacy, as to how genuine this new identity could be.

That being said, it is the official policy of Aegis Initiative, that whether genuine or not, we will recognize and honor this new identity, if for no other reason than that by doing so we are working with the most accurate, up to date information on this individual.
