Executive Summary
Christine Weston Chandler, known to the internet as "Chris-Chan", may possibly be the single most documented human being to ever exist.
Their antics have led to the creation of whole communities within the internet "Counter-Culture".
They have also been known to attend conventions in the past and engage in the sort of behavior we like to document.
This page exists only as a reference tool and partially to combat "whatabout-ism" from critics, and will only link to media that we believe best covers them in the most neutral or comprehensive manner.
Despite this person's current status, released from detention and back on social media, we do not see a reason to actively report on their whereabouts. Unless something of note happens, like they go to jail again or are in the mainstream news, please do not contact us about this person.
Other groups and individuals that are dedicated solely to reporting on this person and what they do are better outlets for whatever you have to tell us.
Current Status
In 2021, Christine Chandler was arrested by local police and then charged with multiple crimes, notably sexual assault and incest, believed to be committed against their biological mother, Barbara Chandler.
In early 2023, very likely due to what could be considered an excessive pre-trial detention that included some time in a medical unit for psychiatric evaluation, Christine was released pending another hearing on 08/09/2023. It was believed that the judge and District Attorney overseeing Christine's case agreed to this as the maximum penalty under the law for what Christine was charged with was 10 years, which could easily be argued down to "Time Served and Probation" due to the fact that Christine had been detained for over 2 years without being charged with a crime.
On August 9th, 2023, the court decided to dismiss all charges against Christine and release them from detainment as soon as possible. Based on social media activity from Christine, it is believed that they have already been released.
There are probably numerous factors that led to this outcome, and others who dedicate their time to over-analyzing every little thing that Christine does will very likely enlighten all of us shortly.

As of October 2023, the fact that Christine is now back on social media platforms like Youtube and Twitter (now known as X by its current owner), has become a source of topical discussion.
Recommended Handling Procedures
As of 08/09/2023, Christine's court case has been dismissed and they are now free. It is unknown what their living situation and plans are, and given the nature and purpose of this organization and the website we control, such things are not really our concern.
We do not believe that Christine should be permitted to attend conventions, given both the nature of their demeanor and what they have been accused of.
Treat them like any other attendee, until they cause problems, and then do what you would do with any other attendee that causes problems.
On Gender Identity
Sometime between the years 2015-2017, This individual changed their name to "Christine" and began identifying themselves by traditionally feminine pronouns.
That being said, there is both widespread misinformation out there on the internet about this individual AND said individual has a well-documented public history of mental illness.
It is solely as a result of Christine's well-known trait of oversharing that we know about any of this.
As a result, there is some semblance of doubt, even amongst those who are normally advocates of transgender rights and public advocacy of progressive causes in general, as to how genuine this new identity could be.
That being said, it is the official policy of Aegis Initiative, that whether genuine or not, we will recognize and honor this new identity, if for no other reason than that by doing so we are working with the most accurate, up to date information on this individual.
